Hammer and sickle engraved aluminum knuckle duster

This is one of my latest knuckle dusters, which was made about 3-4 weeks ago.

Made from 10 millimeters thick aluminum, measures 102 millimeters in lenght and 59 in height.

Palmrest is straight, which is kinda new thing to my knuckle dusters; I don't have any yet without curved palmrest. But although, the grip is still pretty good.

It has engraved Hammer and sickle on both sides, which makes it an opposite knuckle duster of one of my ex knuckle dusters, with swastika engraving(last picture).

On flat fingertops I stamped in letters SSSR, which stand for Savez Sovjetskih Socijalističkih Republika(Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), which is an old Russian motto.

Also, on the straight palmrest, I will engrave words “…for mother Russia…”, as soon as I find some of time.

All letters and engravings are painted red!

The finish is sanded, which gives dark silver matt finish to the duster.

Blog update 27/04/2011

Just an account update for today, 27/4/2011. I've been kinda busy and diligent by making of new knuckle dusters lately. I was making them in Saturday and one in Monday. I'm presenting them soon on this my blog, about 1 per week. I can't afford much more right now because I have hard trainings every day(preparing for a boxing match), having exams in my college and been working.

Also, I nearly ran out of aluminum. I still have it for about 6-7 knuckle dusters, but that's not enough for this year, so I got to go shopping again. I have some various materials for the future, which I might tell out later, when any of them will be made. I also made a few changes at making of knuckle dusters, which I will present later.

Second non-simmetrical alluminum knuckle duster

So, here is my second assymetrical knuckle duster..which I already made before, but with a slightly change.

This1 is exactly same as one before, with the exceptionof the big hole under fingerholes. The version of this knuckle duster is very light, but now, with improovement. It only became extreamly light.

It lost about 2/3 of it's weight, looks verry similiar(except of that 5th hole).

As shown on pictures below, it's very same looking, as you can see on compare picture. Dimensions are exactly the same(102x62x10 millimeters). Yep, even the thickness is the same. Both are fine sanded and polished. It makes a great pair in display.

Spiked and polished knuckle duster

Here's a new knuckle duster, which I made a week ago.

It's 102 millimeters wide, 67 millimeters high and 10 milimeters thick. It's measurements are very standard, noone of them isn't unusual.

The palmrest is very slightly curved and very long, which is giving very very very good grip to this knuckle duster. I would also dare to say, that this knuckle duster has the best grip of all my knuckle dusters I ever made and I ever held in my hand(which number isn't small).

The distance between fingerholes and palmrest is perfect, palmrest is perfectly curved, thickness is very proper...No other words, that pure comfort.

Fingertops are spiked, which isn't very common to my collection. This si third knuckle duster with spiked fingertops and I think it isn't last.

Finish is polished, I might add sanded finish once, I don't know yet.
