Damast trench knife in leather sheat

Just received a package, which included this damast trench knife(as I called it).

The lenght of the blade is 230 millimeters, which means, that this is hell-of-a-knife. The thickness od the blade itself is 5 millimeters. The whole knife is long somewhere between 360 and 370 millimeters.

The handle is walnut wood, and it's not perfectly rounded. It's slightly oval shaped, for far better grip. Afterall, it is coated with somekinda oil or something water resistant.

On both sides of tha handle there are 2 small 3-4 millimeters thick distancers, which has small grooves in them, just for better look and are also made from damast.

Blade is attached to the handle by the metal rod, that goes throught the guard, handle and small distancers, and is tightened at the end by also damast nut.

Around the handle, there is a guard, that could be used as protection from fingers and/or for hitting, in way of knuckle duster. It hasn't section for each finger, but certanly is very useful. It measures from 22 to 33 millimeters into wideness, and has rounded and "spiked" sort of grooves on each side all over for really great look.

The blade is abnormally sharp, shaved rest of my arm as soon as I got it into hands.

The knife sheat is made from high quality leather, on top has loop to attach the knife to the belt and also a protection belt, to keep the knife in the sheat, to prevent falling out in any position/rotation.
It's decorated with sun-looking stamps over the front side of the sheat.

Beautiful damast knife in leather sheat

So this is damast knife, which I purchased about 2 months ago. It's beautiful knife, and I must say, that also very quality. But more about that later.

The lenght of the blade is 140 millimeters, which gives a really long sharp edge at cutting. The thickness od the blade itself is just a little bit more that 4 millimeters(4.2, if we're precise). The whole knife is long somewhere between 250 and 260 millimeters.

The handle thickness is between 16 and 20 millimeters, depends on which spot. This gives the knife an excellent grip, and it fits in fist really great. Lenth of the handle is about 120 millimeters.

It's attached to the blade by 2 stainless steel bolts and on end of the handle is also a brass pipe through the wooden plates and blade, on which I added a strap of black leather, just to secure it around the wrist, while using it.

It came with a very beautiful and quality leather sheat, which hasn't a protection to "fall out", but it's quite deeper..so the knife doesn't fall out easy either. On back side of the sheat, there is a strap, that can be attached to the belt, so you can carry it. During the double stiches on side, it also has beautiful stamps of some kind a flowers/sun..which gives additional great look to the sheat.

Ofcourse I also have to admit, that the knife IS sharp as fuck. While I was just trying to shave(with feeling, that nothing will come out of this)...well..I shaved nearly half of my left arm. That much about the sharpness test.

Certanly a purchase, worth of it's money.
