Bowie damast knife #8

Another nice bowie knife from my Damascus steel knife collection.

Blade thicknes is 5 millimeters, it's lenght is 230 millimeters, it's shaped nearly like a bowie style.

On top, brushed "blade" part isn't quite thin enough, to sharpen it from both sides, so I just left it blunt.

I think it's best way to leavie it like this. I'm just too afraid of my knives, to get hurt or something.

The guard is made from damascus steel also, it's oval shaped, dimensions are 30x50 millimeters(approximately), while it's nearly 8 millimeters thick.

The handle is very close to cilinder shape, but very slightly oval; it's brushed and polished very smooth, so it keeps in hand quite well; no splinters at all..even though, it's not varnished.

The knife sheat is made fom 2 times stiched together swine leather, while the colour is bordoux red(I don't know if it's seen from pictures because of the red background).

Long damast knife with ebony handle #7

So this is a long damascus steel knife with black ebony handle.

The thickness of this blade is 5 millimeters, while the lenght of itself is 230 millimeters. On top of the blade, there are 2 surfaces brushed down, so the knife looks even more beautiful.

The handle is made from black ebony wood and is 115 millimeters long, while the shape of handle itself is very hand-shaped, which means it really fits like a glove!

On the end, there is a damascus steel nut, which keeps the guard, blade and handle together. It is slightly oval and hasn't any particular geometrycal shape, but is well rounded around the shape of ebony handle.

In the middle of the knife, there is a oval hand guard, which has a groove all around it.

It came with !VERY! quality cow-leather sheat, which fits perfectly for it and has safety pin, which keeps knife in it and leather strap, to attach it to belt.

The knife is sharp as fuck!

Skinning damast knife #6

This is one of latest damast knvies, I received..

Blade thickness is exactly 5 millimeters, while it's lenght is 98.89 millimeters.

The handle is made from two wallnut plates, both are connected to the blade itself by 7 imbus screws EACH.

This knife REALLY fits into hand perfectly, you nearly can't feel holding it, fingershaped handle really is comfort made.

Two plates, which serve as knife guard, are made from stainless steel and are attached with two stainless steel bolts.

The whole knife is long about 190 millimeters and chloryzied is only the blade.

Knife is razor sharp.

The knife came in quality brown leather sheet, which is very deep for knife and has a loop for belt on the back.

Lockback damast knife in leather sheat #5

Here's the knife I received last week..It came in package with Damast lockback #4 ...

The blade lenght is 90 millimeters, while it's 3.5 millimeters thick. It's really a compact knife, you know?!

The handle is made partly from walnut's root and the black part is from buffalo's horn. It's well polished, so it's really smooth. Both plates(on both sides) are connected to knife handle with 2 imbus screws.

The middle part of knife is made frmo 3 sections of brass plates; 2 are just distancers and the middle one is used as spring.

All parts except the wood and horn(including blade, brass distancers and stainless steel distancer) are having remarkable, very beaufitul grooves and samples.

The whole knife is long about 200 millimeters.

The blade is sharp. I mean...SHARP.

Lockback damast knife in leather sheat #4

Damast knife, I got this tuesday.

The lenght of the blade is 85 millimeters, which means, it's slightly bigger pocket knife. The thickness od the blade itself is just a little bit more that 3.5 millimeters. The whole knife is 200 millimeters long.

The handle thickness is between 16 and 20 millimeters, depends on which spot. This gives the knife an excellent grip, and it fits in fist really great. Lenth of the handle is about 115 millimeters.

It's partly made from damascus steel and partly from elephant's tooth. It's attached to knife by screws.

It's attached to the blade by steel bolt, which is covered under damascus steel plate.

Knife sheat is double stished together by 2 sheats of leather. It's very compact and very resitant.

The knife already shave my left arm. Sharp as hell.
