Telling the trouth

Being busy lately isn't just an excouse, it became a real problem.

Most time of the day I spend on doing work for the college, at the moment I'm having 3 large projects to do until end of semester(17th of January), where two of them are realization of a veichle, that follows the line drawn on table and the other is artificial finger - at first sight just a finger, further whole hand.

Third project is designing and drawing in dimensions an old American trench knife, US 1918 in CATIA. All of these projects are kinda big to me, because I have about 1-2 exams per week, so I spend a lot of time off-computer.

I hope I will find time for blog soon!

Damast dagger #10

This is one of my far best knives ever, it's a damascus dagger! I've wanted it for really long time and not so long ago, there was an opportunity!

(Beside, I'm planing on making "best of" of my knives as soon as I finish uploading them)

So, this is it! This is my damascus steel dagger! The blade itself is long 157 millimeters, wide 35 millimeters and 5 millimeters thick.

It's very symetrical, very precise made. Between the sharp part and the handle, on both sides knife has cutted grooves, which can give support for thumb(if holding that way).

Above, there is part from damascus steel, which has several grooves and is attached to blade with 5 damascus steel pins.

Even further above, there is wooden part(walnut, ofc.), which fits very accurate to upper damascus part. Even in radius like that!

Well, the wooden part is also attached to blade, just this time with 6 brass pins.

Knife sheat is made from 4 millimeters thick leather, it's color is something ebtween bordoux red and brown color, it is very well stiched together, has on top strap to hold knife in and loop for belt.

The knife is massive, it's a really good knife! And sharp too!

First I'd like to say, I don't have habbit, to post music on my blog..but I'm doing this for one rare time!

I've finished my degree desertation, I'm just lecturing it and hopefully, I'm having my speech in end of first week in September(6th or 7th). After that, first I'll sleep two days in a row, afford myself short vacations, but then..WHOLE september I'll have time for my hobbies..so expect new blog posts sooner than 1 month!
